Every tool we review is assessed across seven dimensions. We weight workflow fit and output quality highest because those determine whether a tool actually saves you time.

How We Test
- Real-task testing. We use each tool for an actual workflow task (transcribing a video, generating ad creative, writing code) — not synthetic benchmarks.
- Comparison context. We test tools alongside their direct alternatives so recommendations are relative, not absolute.
- Pricing verification. We check pricing pages monthly and note the last-checked date on every tool page. Prices change; we update.
- Use-case fit mapping. We identify who the tool is best for and who should skip it — not every tool fits every team.
