What is WotNot?

Reviewed WotNot's site, docs, and pricing as of 2026-10-26; not deployed yet, so nothing here is hands-on. WotNot is an AI agent platform (WotNot, Inc) that pairs a no-code bot builder with AI Studio — paste a URL, train an agent, and deploy across web chat, WhatsApp, SMS, email, Instagram, or voice in 80+ languages. Plans run $29/$99/$299/custom billed monthly with a 14-day trial; chats and AI credits are metered as two separate pools on every tier. G2 sits at 4.6/5 from 102 reviews with none below four stars, while Trustpilot shows 0 reviews — the criticism side of the record is thin.

Key Features

No-code Bot Builder

Drag-and-drop conversational flows with triggers and conditions; a Done-For-You service lets WotNot's own team design and keep optimizing the flow.

AI Studio

Train a knowledge base from URLs and documents in a click, then run a four-step agent lifecycle: create KB, build and deploy, monitor KPIs, expand to new use cases.

Live Chat & Human Handover

Shared inbox for taking over bot conversations mid-chat, with ticketing support from the Starter tier and the full live-chat product from Premium ($299/mo).

Multichannel deployment & reporting

Web chat, WhatsApp, SMS, email, Instagram, and voice in 80+ languages, with separate chatbot, AI, human-agent, outbound, and email reports plus a reporting API.

Pros & Cons

What works

  • Support team is the most-praised thing about the product — 20 Customer Support mentions on G2, including a CTO reporting WotNot's team joined calls with their integration partners and helped fix the customer's own mistakes (G2 reviews, captured 2026-10-26).
  • Webhook/API layer is strong enough to carry custom AI backends — an ecommerce CTO calls it the strongest part of the platform (G2 review, Feb 2026).
  • Time-to-first-agent is short for simple cases: paste a URL, train instantly, and one reviewer reports building a knowledge base and deploying in little effort (site hero; G2 review Mar 2026).
  • Enterprise plumbing is real and listed in the pricing table: on-premise or private-cloud hosting, SSO, InfoSec & legal review, and a minutes-level support SLA at the custom tier (pricing page, 2026-10-26).

Watch out for

  • The bot builder lags on complex flows — flagged in G2's own review summary and repeated by two individual reviewers, one of whom also reports chatbots hanging with debugging that takes real effort (G2, captured 2026-10-26).
  • Chats and AI credits are metered as two separate pools on every tier, and the pricing page shows no self-serve top-up — running out mid-month means upgrading a full tier or contacting sales (pricing page, 2026-10-26).
  • The review record is one-directional: G2 4.6/5 with zero reviews below four stars on a claimed profile whose overview is written by a co-founder, Capterra 4.6 from 5 reviews, Trustpilot 0 reviews — while the site badges itself '4.8/5 · 200k+ users' (review captures 2026-10-26).
  • Self-serve ceilings are high up the ladder: live chat only arrives at $299/mo, SSO and on-prem only at custom Enterprise pricing, live-chat labels can't be split per agent, and there's no plugin option to bring your own AI agent (pricing page; G2 reviews Jan–Apr 2026).

Who is it for?

great

SMB support and lead-gen teams living on WhatsApp

WhatsApp plus web chat plus ticketing from the $99 Starter tier, with qualifying flows and CRM sync (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) in the integration list.

great

Teams deploying an agent trained on their own content

AI Studio's paste-a-URL training and 80+ languages cover the common case; all LLM models unlock at Starter ($99/mo).

good

Agencies wanting a white-label chatbot to resell

A white-label program exists (site has a dedicated page), but it sits outside the DIY pricing table captured — expect the Done-For-You or Enterprise route and a sales conversation.

limited

Teams that need to plug in their own model or agent

G2 reviewers confirm there's no plugin option for bringing your own AI agent; the workaround is raw webhooks/HTTP requests and your own backend.

Reviewed WotNot's site, pricing, and third-party review profiles on 2026-10-26. I have not deployed it — every number below traces to a captured page, receipts saved in the staging folder.

WotNot sells two builders under one roof. The no-code Bot Builder handles scripted flows; AI Studio trains an agent on your content — paste a URL and deploy across web chat, WhatsApp, SMS, email, Instagram, or voice in 80+ languages. Four self-serve tiers run $29, $99, $299, then custom, all billed monthly, with a 14-day trial and a 20% annual-discount toggle the page never prices out per tier.

The Catch

The meter runs twice. Every tier caps chats and AI credits as separate pools — Lite gets 1,000 of each — and the pricing page offers no top-up, so an overage mid-month means upgrading a whole tier or calling sales. The vendor FAQ defines both units; the math sat behind an accordion when we captured the page.

Speed claims deserve a discount too. G2's review summary says the builder lags on complex flows, two reviewers repeat it, and one describes chatbots hanging in ways that were hard to debug. Marketing says live in minutes; G2 users report a median implementation time of two months.

The praise is also mostly one side talking: a claimed G2 profile with a co-founder-authored overview, 102 reviews with zero below four stars, five on Capterra, none at all on Trustpilot — while the site badges itself "4.8/5 · 200k+ users." That's not proof of a problem. It's proof you're reading the vendor's side of the story.

What it actually costs

PlanStickerWhat runs out first
Lite$29/mo1,000 chats · 1,000 AI credits (~33 conversations/day)
Starter$99/mo5,000 of each; live chat still locked
Premium$299/mo10,000 of each; first tier with live chat
EnterpriseCustomSSO, on-prem, InfoSec review

Annual pricing behind the 20% toggle wasn't exposed per tier at capture — confirm at checkout before comparing against annual-billed rivals.

Where it fits

Support and lead-gen teams that live on WhatsApp get the most out of Starter; Premium only makes sense once humans need to take over mid-chat. A lighter document-trained bot? Line it up against Wonderchat or Chatwith. An open-source inbox the AI plugs into is Chatwoot. And FastBots is the nearest no-code cousin, with its credit math published in full.

WotNot is flow-builder-first. Its pricing is usage-first.

WotNot FAQ

How much does WotNot cost?
Lite $29/mo (1,000 chats + 1,000 AI credits), Starter $99/mo (5,000 of each, AI Studio, all LLMs), Premium $299/mo (10,000 of each, live chat), Enterprise custom — all billed monthly, with a 20%-off annual toggle and a 14-day free trial. Prices as shown on wotnot.io/pricing on 2026-10-26; the page doesn't expose per-tier annual prices with the toggle off.
What is the difference between chats and AI credits?
They're two separate allowances that drain in parallel — 1,000 + 1,000 on Lite, 5,000 + 5,000 on Starter, 10,000 + 10,000 on Premium. WotNot's FAQ defines both units, but the calculation details sat behind an accordion when we captured the page on 2026-10-26, so confirm the per-conversation math with sales before committing to a volume.
How much independent review volume does WotNot have?
As of 2026-10-26: G2 4.6/5 from 102 reviews (none below four stars, claimed profile, overview authored by a co-founder), Capterra 4.6/5 from 5 reviews, and 0 reviews on Trustpilot. Sentiment is consistently positive but the critical sample is too thin to show how the product fails.
